In the AMA series, the 4th live youtube AMA was conducted on 09th November 2021 by our CEO & Co-founder Firdosh Sheikh and CTO & Co-founder Mudit Marda.
Firdosh started the AMA, by conveying the Diwali wishes for the community on behalf of DRIFE. Followed by few important updates from the product side.
The first and most important update was about the DRIFE Pilot Launch Event in Bangalore,India, which will be happening in November, and the date will be announced over this weekend. DRIFE will be giving the community an opportunity to be part of the pilot launch event! She said that after the AMA, they will be circulating a google form and those who are selected will get an exclusive limited access invite for the pilot launch event in Bangalore!
She informed that they are preparing for the launch in the coming days. DRIFE is the 1st platform which uses blockchain for real world implementation. So they are giving their everything to the event so that it gets enough buzz for the world to know. Since DRIFE wishes all our community to be a part of the launching event, they will be broadcasting it live on their official youtube channel! So the community will be a part of it, virtually.
Then the big announcement came! Daniel Mangabeira Dantas, former Uber director, will be joining the DRIFE family! Daniel brings a massive experience & expertise along with him to DRIFE. He has previously headed the public policy and public relations of Uber for Latin America. Daniel is a big addition, he has been working with DRIFE before and now it’s official.
The tech side updates were given by Mudit. He said that the team is currently doing the second phase of testing and it is running successfully. DRIFE has partnered with India’s leading KYC verification platform, who are helping in the driver-partner onboarding process!
As the launch date is nearing, the tech team is working on setting up production cloud infrastructure. With the help of partners, they are deploying the process in production as DRIFE is ready to go live!
Firdosh continued by informing that they are now very much focused on the Pilot Launch Event, which is the biggest milestone for DRIFE has to achieve. This in itself is the biggest history in the space of blockchain, where a real product is going live!

The 4th AMA was concluded by Firdosh saying there won’t not be another AMA this month, since the DRIFE team will be working on the launch and marketing activities. And as such, the next AMA will be in December. But she promised that the team will make sure that the community will have regular updates on what is going on in Bangalore, and keep the community engaged as much as possible about the launch and the group of guests who will be attending the event.
